About

20 years ago if you looked through my kitchen cabinets, you’d find boxes of processed, prepared, unhealthy “food” items (I added the parentheses simply because calling some of those box contents “food” is a stretch).  If you sat down to chat with me, you’d find that I had to take a break in our conversation for a cigarette break.  You’d also find after chatting with me for a while that I was just generally unhappy, mostly due to the lack of care I took in myself.

20 years, 3 kids, and a lifetime later, you’ll find me a different person. After spending many years managing a chronic illness in our family, I learned how important food is to our general well-being. Computer nerds in the 80’s coined the term “Garbage in, Garbage out”. While that was initially meant to describe coding errors, it’s also true for our food choices.  You truly ARE what you eat and you only get out of your body what you put into it.

Because I feel none of us ever reach the top of the mountain, we are forever climbing higher in our quest for health and wellness. My only goal is to share what I’ve learned through the years and perhaps help someone else to make better choices for their health and well-being.

I’m Michele. A Mom with a huge passion for sharing and helping other people toward living their best healthy life.
